Why I Left Real Madrid -Zidane

French professional football manager of Real Madrid and former player Zinedine Yazid Zidane has disclosed why he sent his resignation letter to quit managing the club.

According to the letter he wrote, he disclosed that he feels the Spanish club no longer has any confidence in him. He said that because of this, the club does not give him the necessary support to build something in the medium or long term.

“I am a born winner and I was here to win trophies, but beyond this, there are human beings, emotions, life and I have the feeling that these things have not been valued, that it has not been understood that this is also how the dynamic of a great club is maintained,” he said.

“But everything I built on a daily basis, what I brought to the relationship with the players… has been forgotten.”

“I’m leaving, but I’m not jumping ship and I’m not tired of coaching,” he said in his letter.

Apparently, this is the second time Zinedine Zidane has resigned as the manager for the french club Real Madrid.

His resignation has shocked many especially Real Madrid midfielder, Eden Hazard. He has expressed his disappointment with the decision of their manager Zidane. Hazard said in an interview that he regrets not performing and meeting up to standard for Zidane following his exit from the Santiago Bernabeu.

“Zidane’s depature? I am very disappointed” Hazard said at a Belguim press conference ahead of the Euro 2020.
