Dela Coffie Describes Okudzeto Ablakwa’s Resignation As An Act Of Cowardice

An activist of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Dela Coffie has taken to Facebook to lament on Okudzeto Ablakwa’s resignation from the Appointment Committee of Parliament.

In his post, he described Ablakwa’s decision as quintessential hypocrisy, epic deception, cowardice, and ridiculous self-aggrandizement.

He said that Ablakwa’s basis on personal principles as reasons for resigning from the Appointment Committee is false claims since he participated in the approval consensus of Ken Ofori Atta.

Dela Coffie also said that the MP for North Tongu is an unprincipled person for sitting through all the vetting and now wants to quit by trashing his colleagues.

He also said that Ablakwa’s decision is aimed at undermining Haruna Iddrisu’s leadership as the Minority leader in Parliament.

In any event, Ablakwa ought to understand that there are a lot of us with our eyes open to what folks are trying to do. It is all geared towards undermining the Haruna Iddrisu led leadership, part of his post reads.

On 30th March 2021, Okudzeto Ablakwa announced his resignation from the Appointment Committee of Parliament. His decision has raised eyebrows as many perceive that there is a misunderstanding between the leader of the NDC.
