14 Years After They Released “Chinwe Ike”, See How Estar And Gucheano Presently Look (PHOTOS)

A lot of music groups in the Nigeria Music Industry grew big and made name but later separated. Great groups like the lives of P-square, KC Presh, Plantashun Boiz and many more.

Today, we focus on Resonance group which made rounds during their time.

Esther Olaedo Iyizoba (Ebigbo) better known as Estar and Uche Ozoigbo, her cousin who was also known as Gucheano formed Resonance in 2006.

After the launch of their first album “Chinwe Ike” (God is great), the Resonance group came into the limelight. The ‘hit’ album sold many copies in Nigeria and other countries.

Estar who loved singing begun at age 3 and she learnt how to play the guitar at age 11. Estar represented Nigeria in New York as a singer at the United Nations Children’s Congress at the age of 14 and at 17 she was a member of the Igbo choir in her community.

In 2007, as usual, the great group splitted and they went solo. Estar continued to compose her own songs but none compared to the greatest hit album, Resonance.

Checkout some recent photos of Estar and Gucheano, 14 years after they sang the song “Chinwe Ike”.
