Here’s why… — We’re told to aim for unconditional love and to accept our romantic partners as they are. In this video, I share why I think unconditional love can be toxic, and what we can aim for instead. Unconditional love sounds beautiful. Many experts say it’s the ideal, the golden ticket to love someone unconditionally, and accept them with all their flaws.  I do believe it’s important to choose a partner who has your must-haves and no deal breakers. Once you accept that this is the person you want to be with, accept them for who they are and don’t try to change them.
